“Gymnastic was my departure” – KiDi confirms Lynx exit

KiDi has officially confirmed his departure from Lynx Entertainment, revealing that he has been operating as an independent artist and that he left the label around the time he released "Gymnastic," his collaboration with Olivetheboy and Kojo Black.

He made the announcement during a TikTok Live session with Code Micky, where he spoke candidly about the transition. "During the 'Lomo Lomo' days, I was there, Gymnastics was my exit," KiDi confirmed.

His departure marks the end of a highly productive chapter that saw him grow from a promising signee into one of Ghana's biggest Afrobeats exports, delivering multiple chart-topping hits and award-winning projects under the Lynx Entertainment banner.

During the conversation, Code Micky noted the widely held perception in the Ghanaian music industry that artists tend to struggle commercially after leaving Lynx Entertainment; however, KiDi's early moves as an independent artist appear to be challenging that narrative.

His recent collaboration with Lasmid, titled "Signature," has already been generating significant buzz and strong reception from music lovers across the country, suggesting his creative momentum remains very much intact outside of the label.
