Akufo-Addo visits Mahama during Easter festivities in Kwahu

Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo paid a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama in Kwahu, where they both attended events related to the Easter festivities.

The meeting took place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, as President Mahama participated in events associated with the Kwahu Business Forum, a key gathering held in conjunction with the annual festivities in the area.

Akufo-Addo, who shared details of the visit on Facebook, characterized the encounter as part of his long-standing personal tradition of spending Easter in Kwahu.

"On Holy Saturday of Easter, whilst in Kwahu where for almost two decades I have consecutively visited during the sacred period of Easter, I called on H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic, who is also in Kwahu," he stated.

He also conveyed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with President Mahama during the celebrations.
