Kumasi–Accra Highway: 3 dead, 20 injured in fatal crash

A tragic accident involving a Mitsubishi Outlander and a Benz Sprinter occurred near the Rider Iron and Steel Company on the Kumasi-Accra Highway, resulting in three fatalities and 20 injuries.

The crash, which took place at Odumasi-Ohene Nkwanta, involved the Mitsubishi Outlander with registration number DV G8180, driven by Richmond Kuman, and the Benz Sprinter with registration number GE6024-22, driven by an unidentified driver.

Emergency responders retrieved three deceased males from the scene and handed them over to the Police MTTD at Konongo.

Meanwhile, the 20 individuals who sustained injuries have been transported to Hope Care Hospital, Asante Akim Central Municipal Hospital, and RIS Hospital.
