Suhum: VIP bus and diesel trailer collision results in 10 casualties

A fatal road accident occurred on the Accra–Kumasi Highway, resulting in the loss of ten lives. The incident involved a VIP bus carrying 33 passengers, which collided with a diesel trailer.

According to the Ghana National Fire Service, the crash was caused by wrongful overtaking by the bus.

A team of seven firefighters from the Suhum Municipal Fire Station responded promptly to the distress call, securing the scene and safely concluding operations.

Both vehicles sustained partial damage, with no passengers trapped.

The fire crew returned to base following the successful completion of their mission.
