Two Suspected Robbers Arrested After Police Chase Over Alleged Theft of 30 Goats at Sekyedumase

Two suspected robbers have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service following a hot pursuit over the alleged theft of about 30 goats at Sekyedumase in the Ashanti Region.

According to reports, the suspects allegedly loaded the animals into a Toyota Voxy and attempted to transport them away from the area.

The movement reportedly raised suspicion, prompting the police to pursue the vehicle. After a chase, officers managed to intercept the suspects and take them into custody.

The stolen goats were reportedly recovered, while the suspects are expected to assist the police with investigations into the alleged livestock theft.

The arrests highlight ongoing efforts by the Ghana Police Service to clamp down on livestock theft and related criminal activities in communities.

The suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue.
