Deputy Transport Minister engages investors on shipbuilding hub ambitions

Deputy Transport Minister and Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has engaged in discussions with a team of investors and technical experts in shipbuilding to position Ghana as a key hub for shipbuilding and repairs in the sub-region.

The engagement centered on exploring opportunities to attract investment and enhance local capacity within the maritime sector, aiming to boost industrial growth and job creation.

The Ministry of Transport has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering strategic partnerships and creating an enabling environment to support investment in the country's maritime industry.
