John Boadu leads NPP chairmanship race with 48% – Global InfoAnalytics

The latest Global InfoAnalytics poll has placed a national chairman aspirant and former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, at the top of the party’s contest, with a 10-point lead over former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko.
The September 30 poll, based on the firm’s Committed Delegates Model, puts Mr Boadu at 48%, ahead of former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko, who records 38%.
Former NPP National Chairman Paul Afoko follows with 12%, while former First Vice Chairman Sammy Crabbe records 2%, according to the poll.
The latest figures represent a different measurement from Global InfoAnalytics’ earlier surveys of the chairmanship contest.
Its September 2 poll, for example, had Mr Boadu on 23.3%, followed by Mr Agyarko on 17.7%, with 41.3% of respondents undecided.
The September 30 graphic also reports net favourability scores for the four candidates, with Boadu at +64, Agyarko at +58, Afoko at +45 and Crabbe at +39.
Global InfoAnalytics says the latest exercise used random probability sampling from the 16 regions and the 2026 NPP constituencies register.
It also reports that the survey was conducted through Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI), with a 98% confidence level and a ±1.34 percentage-point margin of error.
