UCL: Bayern beat Madrid in seven-goal thriller to set up PSG semi-final

Bayern Munich has set up a Champions League semi-final match with titleholders Paris St-Germain after winning a thrilling seven-goal match against Real Madrid.

The first half of the quarter-final second-leg match saw five goals scored in a fast-paced and action-packed game, before the tempo slowed down in the second half as both teams adopted a more tactical approach.

It appeared that the match would require extra time to determine the winner, but Real Madrid substitute Eduardo Camavinga was given a second yellow card for time-wasting four minutes from time after committing a foul against Harry Kane.

With one minute remaining, Luis Diaz scored the decisive goal, his 24th of the season. The former Liverpool forward exchanged passes with Jamal Musiala before curling the ball into the top corner with a slight deflection.

Having lost the first leg 2-1, Real Madrid took the lead three times at the Allianz Arena, with Arda Guler scoring twice, but Kane scored his 50th goal of the season as Bayern equalized each time.

They prevented any potential comeback from the 15-time European champions when Michael Olise scored a fourth goal in added time, securing a 4-3 win and a 6-4 aggregate victory.
